Welcome to Horseracing – International . COM – a blog founded in 2010.
What’s this site about? All about the global aspect of horse racing. I love the diversity of this wonderful sport. And I love writing about it: betting, opinions, photos and big race previews.
Who am I? Florian. I describe myself as a German horse racing enthusiast first and foremost. I’m also writer & photographer and do live in the land of the horse – Ireland. I’m based in County Kildare, having the beautiful racecourses of Naas, Punchestown and Curragh right on my doorstep.
What do I love about horses and racing? Everything! – though, I’ve got a slight preference for the global game of flat racing. I love the speed and admire fast horses. However, let’s be clear on that: there isn’t much else that can rival the opening Tuesday of the Cheltenham Festival – which is arguably the finest day of horse racing!
What makes horses and racing so special? For me it really is the pure visual impression of raw power, evident in every move of these wonderful creatures. There isn’t anything more elegant, yet more raw and more stunningly beautiful than a top class thoroughbred in full flight approaching the final furlong, hard held on the bridle, cruising past his rivals while showing class, authority, speed and natural beauty.
Betting? I don’t claim to be the best punter in the world but I know one or two things about horses and betting. I’m confident enough to say my selections yield in a profit at the end of the year. I have posted consistently profit over the last number of years with a combined 30% ROI for 2017 and 2018. P/L stats are regularly updated.
However, to be clear: this is not a tipping service. I simply enjoy writing about my selection finding process. I’m not responsible for your losses – if you want to follow my selections.
I sincerely hope you enjoy this site. If you’ve got any feedback, please feel encouraged to get in touch. Your opinions are certainly valued.
All the best,
